How to prevent a Spybot NEWS popup after Windows launch

I had not seen that reply, but appear to have succeeded in preventing SpybotLab from opening NEWS after a boot, by removing 'SD SpybotLab.exe' from its home folder.
 
Good, glad you got it fixed. If you would like to any time, if you choose the newer installer it will remove the previous version of Spybot for you and install a version that should not show News on every boot. From what I'm seeing in that thread, it will only show News when there is new News to show, if I'm reading that right. :)
