How to tell if there is a key logger on my computer? I don't mean one put on via hacker, but I mean one put on by someone I live with?

Did you already run Spybot-Search&Destroy?

After running Spybot, I would suggest you run another anti-malware tool such as MalwareByte's Anti-Malware. It detects keyloggers too.
