how to whitelist SketcUp 2018?

Noob here, apologies if I'm posting incorrectly.

Spybot is not allowing SketchUp 2018 to run. Short of disabling Spybot, how do I get spybot to allow it to run?

Which version of Spybot do you have, and which edition of Spybot are you using? :)
If it is Spybot 2 and up, the different editions are listed on this page, if you are unsure which you have:

When you run Sketchup do you get any windows showing from Spybot? A possibility would be a little window that says Live Protection at the top of it, if you have an edition of Spybot with Live Protection.
