I have noticed that I recently cannot get full immunisation with Spybot. There are 115 that are not immunized, all of these on Microsoft Explorer. There are 23 Global Hosts as well. I have just had a Microsoft update of about 12 items. Could this be anything to do with the problem? My SpywareBlaster interface says that everything is covered (I have several browsers other than Internet Explorer).

Although you may be running under an administrator user account, Windows Vista requires that you deliberately elevate the administrative rights to perform certain functions. I assume that was Microsoft's way of trying to tighten security and addressing the installation/execution abuses that could occur when running under an administrator user account in former operating systems.
