First of all I want to apologize in advance. I am so computer stupid it is not funny. I want to learn and I have but I am older and it taked sometime to sink into the brain cells. So please be gentle!!! I ran spybot. I think I got this adware crap from I don't know where. I kept on getting these pop ups from ucleaner telling me that I was infected with a trojan. Well spybot seemed to do the trick, FOR NOW. Now anything I try to acess with a password like aol, yahoo or even this forum(I am using my nephew's computer), kicks me right out and gives me messages like I am not authorized or I am timeed out, or just "cannot acess the page". Please help

Please run Spybot-S&D and select "Spybot-S&D" --> "Immunize" in the navigation bar on the left. There you will find a drop down menu. Please select "Ask for blocking confirmation". If you want to visit a blocked website choose "Allow". Hope this solves the problem. If this doesn't work please untick the checkbox and hit "Undo" in the same section of Spybot-S&D. But Warning: now the bad downloads won't be blocked any longer! Maybe you have to restart your computer now. Then try again to open your favourite pages. Don't forget to "immunize" again after visiting that page.

Thanks for the response. I have done all of that and still am not able to get into anything that has any kind of passwords. This is driving me nuts. The popups have stopped. I still get this bar that tells me that my computer is at risk and if I want to change my security settings. It looked pretty official so I did that and then saw that my homepage was changing. I caught on and realized that indeed it is not so official. So homepage is back to normal. I still am getting this bar though.. Please help I am lost.

Double click HijackThis.exe.
Just start the program.
Hit Scan.
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Please mail that log to our detectives at detections(at)spybot.info.
