iexplore.exe in startup folder - can't remove

Hi there,

In my startup folder I have a program called iexplore.exe. I am unable to delete it as I get access denied. It looks very suspicious to me as I thought only shortcuts to programs reside in startup. Also it doesn't have the standard iexplore icon. Do you think this is malware? And if so, any ideas how I can remove this?

I've run spybot search&destroy, adware and windows defender, but none of these detected it.
