“immunization”

I was playing around with a couple anti-malware programs (UVK and Spybot and I’m sure others have it as well ) and noticed they had this Immunization feature .. I was hesitant to apply because I don’t want any functionality to break.. I don’t really understand it .. I also don’t know if different programs apply immunization in a similar fashion or not..

Other programs may have an immunization-like protection feature though it is usually called something unique to itself.
