Because of some problem I had to uninstall spybot search & destroy. I did this through the control panel , Add or remove programs. Now I’d like to install the program. However some folders of the previous installation still exist . Do I delete these folders before I install Spybot or the program will be installed in the same directory it was before it was uninstalled?

If it's the folder in Program Files,when installing Spybot again,Spybot should popup during install and say that there is already a Spybot folder in Program Files,and ask if you would like to install there anyways,to which you could say yes.
Or,if you prefer,you could delete the folder in Program Files before you install.
If it's the folder at Application Data,you might want to leave that undeleted if you have backups in Spybot's recovery that you would like to keep.
