How do I set up an installer scan for just the download directory alone and nothing else?

You can can add your download directory so that Spybot-S&D can check all installer files within a scan. But you will have to make a full scan.
Open Spybot-S&D and go to > settings > directories. Add here the folder your installer files will go to.

Thanks! I've done that already. Does that mean that each time I download a file that I have to do a full scan before using it safely?
