Can we talk about Internet security settings?



Is it advisable to use the Spybot Poxy in the web browser you use - so does this provide an additional layer of security?
Or does the proxy only serve to provide updates, primarily for business customers?

If it makes sense to define the proxy as a security layer, does this work with a running VPN service (.exe) and also at the web browser level (add-on)?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any helpful information so far.

There are known issues with the Spybot Proxy, and it does function correctly on later versions of Windows, such as Windows 10 + 11.

Therefore, we recommend leaving the proxy disabled and revert the internet protection age to its default settings.

Alright, so there is a real time scan service active per default? for scanning the cached files, temp files and cookies?
