Sorry if this has already been posted here before. Somehow my laptop has got some spyware on it, and I have SP2 and Spybot running on my laptop. I know that there is spyware because if I google anything related to spyware and then click on a link I am forwarded to various sites selling products which remove spyware.
The problem is that I am unable to remove it, and everytime I try to run Spybot it runs really slowly and when it reaches 1000/37000 it comes up saying that the 'user has aborted'. I haven't aborted it!!! Any help is gratefully recieved.
(I have also tried to run Windows Defender, Ad-ware Personal Edition and Iolo System Mechanic 6 - all to no avail).
