Fraud.AntimalwareDoctor claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user and make him buy a license to get the issue fixed.
Removal Instructions:Autorun:
Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
- Entries named "Antimalware Doctor.exe" and pointing to "*\Antimalware Doctor.exe".
You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
- Delete the registry key "Antimalware Doctor Inc" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\".
- Delete the registry key "Antimalware Doctor" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\".
