The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.FileFixProfessional" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Fraud.FileFixProfessional claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user to make him buy a license to get the issue fixed.​
Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$APPDATA>\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\FileFix Professional 2009.lnk".
  • The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\FileFix Professional 2009\FileFix Professional 2009 on the Web.lnk".
  • The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\FileFix Professional 2009\FileFix Professional 2009.lnk".
  • The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\FileFix Professional 2009\Uninstall FileFix Professional 2009.lnk".
  • The file at "<$DESKTOP>\FileFix Professional 2009.lnk".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FileFix Professional 2009\wizard.exe".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FileFix Professional 2009\wizard.url".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.FileFixProfessional uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:
