Threat Details:

  • trojan
Description:
Win32.Virut.bg drops several files to the system and temp directory and creates autorun entries for them. Win32.Virut.bg opens a backdoor and tries to connect to a predefined Internet server. It stays resident in memory and uses virus mechanism to infect random executable files. Deleting the file reader_s.exe or server.exe will not help in removing the threat on your computer. We recommend the use of an antivirus software for automatical file disinfection. Please contact our support forum, if further advice is desired.
