More NSIS problems

Have we actually found the solution, here? I hoped the poster would post back with an update, since so many people have found that it does come back, but waits awhile to do it. I'm having the same problem, but am afraid to try anything (because every time you try unsuccessfully, it gets worse, and harer to find) until I'm sure it's the solution that will actually work. Has this one been verified? Are there any other threads dealing with this issue?
