Multiple pop ups, Project 1 running....help needed

hello,
Recently my system is become very slow. When i connect to internet, i get many popups, there are project 1 running in the task manager even if there is no application running except the IE.

Please help....

Hi,
I downloaded the Spybot-S&D and got the updations done. But when i started the online scans, none of those sites were getting connected. Further now the system is not starting at all. After the CNTRL+ALT+DEL screen to logon, a blue screen appears for some time and the system restarts. Pls help....

Can you get to safe mode and then make a hijackthis log ?
