my computer is running very slow

my sustem is infected with some type of virous that i dont know what kind it is. I ran spybot but it still running very slow it dont seem to work on my pc. Any recomandations to know what kind of virous is running through my system ?

Apprantly the computer was infected when you started a topic previously, 2008-06-15. http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=29541

How was that resolved?

how can i find wat tipe of virus i have and how to romove it i will appreshiate ure help i have a windows 2000 on my pc
