No detection updates installed??

Hi, I've just downloaded and installed v1.4 of Spybot S&D but when I try and perform a scan it tells me I need to install the detection updates first. When I then check for updates it tells me there are none.... what am I missing here?!? :scratch:

Before you run your first scan you need to install the detection updates first.

Here is the direct download link:

Just download and run that file - it is self-installing.

I didn't think I was doing anything wrong!

It seems the updates server wasn't available when I was checking earlier, I've just done another update check now and it returned a whole list of updates, which I've installed and now all is AOK!
