If it`s a lot of suspicious entries found after the Spybot scan,try unchecking most of them,then try checkmarking a few at a time,then hitting the `Fix selected problems`button,to see if it will fix those couple without getting the "Not responding" message.If it's successful,then in the next scan,you could try selecting and fixing a couple more problems,and see how it goes.
You could also try the same method with immunizing.After going into Immunize,in the window to the right,rightclick and deselect all,then try checkmarking a couple immunizations at a time,to see if it will immunize without the not responding message.
