It is useful to be able to find older versions of some software but members; please don't be installing old unsupported versions of a security application.

This is useful - because we need some places for Spybot version 1.3.
As version 1.4 is not compatible with Windows 95 we need to give old download adresses to our useres. So thanx.

Thanks for letting me know.... I will send an email to the admin of www.oldapps.com and tell them to remove version 1.1 and 1.2

As you can see here now... they have added a warning here:

"SpyBot Team recommends to avoid using version 1.1 and 1.2 due to security concerns."

it is nearly kind of useless - they can't be updated, so you won't get any protection with version 1.1 and 1.2.

thanks for the post. Always a good resource to have legacy apps accessible on a site in case we need it for an older build. really hard to find nowadays and the floppy archives have been collecting dust.

In 2013 we are now at Spybot-S&D version 2.0.1 To avoid misunderstandings, this topic (started in 2006) is closed.

Still available for older PCs: Spybot – Search & Destroy® 1.6.2 (free for private users)
Earlier versions are not supported.
