Open Browsers Detected

After running "Immunization" on SpyBot, the results window says:
"Open Browsers Detected. You should close "Internet Explorer (Administrator)" to make sure immunization is successful"
I clicked on IE to close it and saw that it was already closed, and that I was not running IE.

I ran "Immunization" a 2nd time, and it again said that IE was open and I should close it.
Why is this happening?
Is it possible that another copy of IE is running on my computer that I don't know about?

Hi, that is possible. You can see those hidden browsers in Taskmanager. (Press CTRL + Shift + Esc)

You are correct. I checked and found 6 separate "processes" called iexplore.exe running at the same time.

Can you tell me where to look for an explanation of what is really happening here, since I only have one Internet Explorer Window open yet TaskManager shows 6 "processes" for that one window?

You can see those hidden browsers in Taskmanager. (Press CTRL + Shift + Esc)

Or right click on the taskbar, menu pops up, click "Start Task Manager"
