Browser and Version:
Internet Explorer 8, FireFox 3.10

Version of Spybot S&D and Date of the latest update
Spybot S&D ver 1.6.2.46
Detection update:
2009/05/20

Where did the false positive occur:
In the Scan result
After fix:
No fix excluded it instead
Spybot message at start of scan:
None
Teatimer message when a program was executed:
None
SDHelper popup
None
Scan, fix, resident and error logs are located in:
Nothing with Perfect Uninstaller in it

Why would Spybot pick this up as a problem?

Thank you for reporting this issue.
PerfectUninstaller was detected as PUPS, but was supposed to be removed from detection with the update 2009-05-20 after the vendor removed the changes PerfectUninstaller made to the visibility of hidden files.
It will get removed from detection with the next detection update.
