PLEASE HELP - Typing Delay in IE

Hi Guys,

Really hoping you can help. Everything I type on the net is really slow and some keys just don't register at all the first time. Its fine when I type in Word so ruling out keyboard settings.

I did download a file I probably shouldnt have before this happend. Norton & Spybot say I am all clear. Really appreciate your help.
