Problem updating

I've just installed 1.6.2.42 but it won't install the detection updates
When I click on the update button it just says there are no new updates available. But if I go to the About page it says No detection updates installed.

Any ideas?
 
Maybe you just tried to download the updates when our new detection updates were uploaded. Do you still have the same problem?

I should have also mentioned that I cannot run a scan either. I just get an error "You need to install the detection updates first by using the integrated update or the manual updater".

It's still not working.
 
Hello,

This message can appear when we are in the weekly update process on wednesdays. The updates are down for 1 or 2 hours while we prepair and upload the newest detection rules. Please be patient and make a new search for updates a little bit later.

No updates available

from 2 different pc and 2 different networks,version 1.6.2.46 , no updates available but they are there.
I would like to solve without reinstalling if possible or at least to know the reason least
