Problem with RegEdit.

I don't understand what you are attempting to show us. Registry Editor is regedit.exe (not regedit.com) and it is normally located in C:\WINDOWS (not C:\WINDOWS\system32).

Try starting Registry Editor as follows:
  • Click on "Start".
  • Click on "Run…".
  • Type "regedit" (no quotes)
  • Then click "OK".

Delete the regedit.com file

I don't know what is goin on with regedit.. I do scan on SpyBot and AdAware often but it doesn't seem to be picking up that error or what ever that is?
If any of you could help solve my problem i would appreciate it so much! Thanks! :)

Delete the regedit.com file from the \Windows\System32\ folder as it may be a corrupted file.

you can also run Registry Editor by typing "regedt32" in the Run dialog box (if you are using Windows 2000 or XP). regedt32.exe is stored in the \Windows\System32\ folder of WinXP or \WinNT\System32\ folder of Win2000

Were you getting what was shown in your image(regedit.com),when you tried to open regedit?
Are you also having malware-type problems?
