Problems with update

Dear all, when I want to download the spybot updated I receive the following message: Error - Cannot open AVI.
For the rest spybot is working fine. Can somenbody help me?

I checked my laptop but I can not see that any transformation pack is installed. I also manually ran the update file from the site but when I click on search for updates (just to verify if I'm not missing something) I still have to dl a lot of updates.
 
Please can somebody help me. I really like to use this program and I think its a required tool to kill the spyware.

I assume that you ran the following:
  • Detection updates 2006-06-16 - product description
    md5: C54ACA7AA2C71ABA1263693DAB719DCF

    This updates the detection rules. Only needed if you do not want to use the update function integrated into Spybot-S&D.
That is the substitute for this update:
  • Detection rules - !Updated detections (1.7 MB) - 2006-06-16

Not all updates are available for manual updating. Also, doing manual updates does not eliminate the corresponding updates from appearing in the integrated update facility.

If this was a new installation of Spybot and you never received the following updates:
  • Detection support library - Detection support routines update (238 KB) - 2006-03-10
  • Advanced detection library - Advanced detection routines update (87 KB) - 2006-03-10
You should also download the following manual updates:
  • Tools update 2006-03-31 - product description
    md5: 6A3F1779DDC2EBAADB65C086687DF4B3

    Only needed if you do not use the integrated update.
  • Advanced check library update 2006-03-30 - product description
    md5: 73047D64714ECB9BD4A023E3A6EF4354

    This is an update for a detection library. Only needed if you do not want to use the update function integrated into Spybot-S&D.

Thanks for the information. I run Windows XP Pro on that laptop.
I think I need a reinstallation, cause whatever I try I can not update spybot.
I also do not see any option to remove the transformation pack. I think there is one installed as I can use a lot of themes. I will try the reinstallation. On my desktop PC spybot is working perfect. So I do not think its related to spybot.
