Program will not open

I've had spybot on my computer for a couple years now and it always used to work fine. Recently, I got the little red X in the corner of the taskbar that says I have spyware. I double-clicked Spybot and nothing happens. I tried updating, still nothing happens. Not sure where to go from here. Please help. This little red X is killing me.

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum where a helper will advise you as soon as available.

Spybot will not open

For some reason, I cannot get Spybot to open. I tried updating and that didn't work either. Anyone know what would cause this. Please help.

It appears that you did not follow the required procedure in the link provided by tashi before posting the following thread in the Malware Removal forum:

• Spybot will not open

I suggest that you:

1. Reread the "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) procedure.
2. Run the required scans (excluding Spybot since you can't start it) and produced the requested logs.
3. Repost in the Malware Removal forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from the above instructions.
