I think I have some kind of spyware on my pc call protectionband. Can someone please guide me the best way to destroy it. thanks

Hello iceage.

As explained in response to your PM:

Please follow the procedure in this link: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum

Once you have posted a helper will advise you as soon as available.

If you post the information requested in that procedure into this topic (at the least a HJT log will be necessary), a volunteer helper will attempt to guide you through any cleanup required.
