Recurring infection on Netbook

Seems to be installing fine, currently in the middle of its download (significantly larger than I expected, which is a pain from a limited download per month Australian perspective, but I guess it can't be helped), but that's going rather slowly and it's past midnight, so I'll have to get back to you with the results when I wake up in the morning.
Kaspersky scanner ran without incident, found no problems.

Search Companion failed to find any copies of that file.
As far as noticeable symptoms, there's nothing really to add from before. The issues with opening C: and shutting down vanished when I renamed the autorun.inf that had been inserted (and which I'm assuming is now safe to delete?). The only strange issue now is why I couldn't install ComboFix to look for any additional traces, I suppose.

It is possible that the combofix download was corrupted, if you wish to try again, delete the copy you have completely. Turn off Combodo for just long enough to get the download, then try the directions again.
Update MBAM (Version 1.40 Database 2562 8/5/2009) and scan to be sure we missed none of the junk, there is no need to post a clean scan result.
(MBAM is yours to keep if you wish, keep it updated and run it once a month or so)
Update COMODO antivirus and scan the system, to be sure it is running right and scanning clean.
If all is well at this point, let me know and I will close the topic.
