registree

Do you mean the computer Registry? If so, then in simple terms, the Windows registry is like the core of the Windows Operating System. It contains information about your computer (settings, boot-up files, programs, etc.) and critical files such as hibernation, boot up, sounds, visualizations, etc. You may manually edit the registry, although it is strongly not recommended for inexperienced users. In addition, it may mean bad news if registry keys are infected by viruses and trojans. The Windows Firewall (SP2) for example is built in the registry. A malware/trojan/worm/virus scan disable it without the user's knowledge.
