My computer has a 160 GIG MAXtor with Windows XP professional that suddenly will not start. When I click on the START button at the bottom of my screen, the pointer sticks and will not move nor does the window open.
I loaded SPYBOT on a 10 ATA GIG drive which I setup as a master and attach the SATA 169 GIG Maxtor that worked up to 2 days ago as a Slave. Ran Spybot on the ATA 40 GIG and it worked fine. Trouble is, Spybot does not see the SATA drive to scan it.
I can see the data on the MAXTOR SATA but cannot scan it. Is there a way to to so. Help!
