Safe to install and use Spybot S&D v1.6.2 in 64-bit Windows 7 HP?

I have a new Dell OEM 64-bit Windows 7 HP machine. I was wondering if the latest Spybot S&D v1.6.2 is safe to install and use on it. I cannot seem to find exact system requirements.
