Since my thread ' XP SP3' is closed, i have to start a new thread to ask questions. I have found this file "spider.sav" in My Documents folder. I would like to ask how this file came about and which application uses this particular file(if any) and whether it's safe to delete the file from my computer. Thanks.

Haven't had Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer for quite a while,but as I recall it does analyze security problems.There's a wiki article here:
