scans when the program starts

On one of the computers that I support, spybot starts scanning immediately upon opening it, before I can update it and apply immunizations, etc. On my personal computer at home, it does not do this. It goes right to the menu, as it should.

To be clear, I am not talking about it running automatically when the computer boots. That is not the case.

How can I stop it from starting the scan immediately?

Rightclick the Spybot icon,select Properties,and on the Shortcut tab,in the Target: box,does it have /autocheck at the end?
It'll look something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /advancedmode /autocheck

All right,and while you're there,if there is no /Autocheck at the end of the line in the Target: box when you check Properties,then please try opening Spybot and stopping the scan.Let me know if the scan stops or if the window just hangs there indefinitely.
