Hello i'm new on this forum. Can you explain me this problem.
On immunize section i have 8010 objects unprotected in Windows (global hosts) is it normal ?
If not what happens if you go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode (answer "Yes" to the warning if necessary) > Tools > Hosts file > and then click on the "Add Spybot S&D hosts list" button?
 (((running spybot 1.5.2.20, ms defender 1.1.1593.0, zone alarm firewall 7.0.462.000 and avg free anti-virus 7.5.516 in windows xp)))
-- when installing spybot 1.5.2.20, i got a message from ms defender showing the list of 8010 objects that spybot puts into the global host file of bad websites that spybot immunizes by re-directing them to 127.0.0.1.
-- in order to immunize against these 8010 objects in spybot 1.5.2.20, i found that i needed to temporarily uncheck "lock host file" in zone alarm <firewall/main/advanced/security>. then, as soon as these are immunized in spybot, i again check the "lock host file" check-box to continue zone alarm's protection of the localhost file.
