Set spybot to run as admin all the time

Hello all, can i have spybot always run as admin without the right click. i find i forget to do so and wind up running it twice.

Yes,you should be able to do that.Just let me know which version of Spybot you have,so I can tell you the best place to set that up,and your Operating System. :)
 
Okay,it would be best to set sdwelcome.exe to run as admin,and that should get each component in Spybot to run as administrator as well.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2,rightclick SDWelcome.exe and select Properties,then click the Compatibility tab,and under Privilege Level,checkmark Run This Program as Administrator,then click Apply and OK.That should make it so that you'll automatically get a prompt from UAC to run as administrator when you open Spybot Start Center. :)
 
Thank you, it worked. No more forgetting to right click and having to scan twice. this is going to help my mother with her endless battle with spyware. Good Guys 1- Bad guys 0
