Smitfraud-C & Virtumondo and who knows what else...

Thanks for the feedback, the Vundofix file will be on the C:\ as vundofix.txt.

I may have missed this, please use HJT to remove it. It is just a dead line, not malware any longer.
O21 - SSODL: E404Helper - {0c3866ff-54a3-4e0e-b60f-71316ee441ca} - (no file)

The balance of the HJT log looks clean of malware:bigthumb: What I would like to do now is look at a new Kaspersky scan, it will tell us what is left. Before you run it, please do this:

Remove combofix, C:\qoobox\quarantine\ folder, Vundofix, and the C:\Vundofixbackups\ folder.
also from the first scan, make sure:

Your Java cache has been cleaned:
C:\Documents and Settings\Olivia\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\
http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/virusproblem/howtoclean/cleanjavacache.shtml

C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 12\Quarantine\ <<< this quarantine folder went with the uninstall

C:\ZwinkySetup2.2.60.11.exe <<< delete this infected file

We will still have infected files since we need to clean the System Restore, but we will have a better idea of how we are doing, please use these settings:

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Then post it here.

Thanks...Phil

Vundofix log with question

The Vundofix file is below...

AND -

The following file did not appear on HJT -
O21 - SSODL: E404Helper - {0c3866ff-54a3-4e0e-b60f-71316ee441ca} - (no file)

Removed:
Combofix,
C:\qoobox\quarantine\ folder,
Vundofix,
C:\Vundofixbackups\ folder.

Java cache at Olivia has been cleaned.

ZwinkySetup2.2.60.11.exe <<< deleted!

I wanted to get the Vundofix.txt file to you ASAP - Because it shows (under properties) updated today, but the list text shows 12/14 - did not look right with that date so I did not send it before because I did not think it was a new file. It is the only one there.

I will be working on the Kapersky scan and will post it as soon as it is completed.

I do not think I will post it until after I get home next Thursday - Holiday Obligations. As it will be so long a time delay, do I need to create a new thread or pull it up from the archive at that point?

Your topic will be open at least to that point.

Thanks

Back from Holiday travel, new HJT Log as requested.

Phil,
I'm Back! Now, I have a RUNDLL error message when I startup -
"specified module could not be found"
C:\Windows\System32\notdgyH.dll

Do you know what this is - the Desktop seems to load slow and IE comes up slowly as well (I have Broadband - lower level). It seems like a small thing, but it may be a big thing.......But here is the new Hijack This log you requested....

Thanks for the feedback, we have another bad item to remove and something is blocking us from removing junk with HJT.

1) Make sure you do not have TeaTimer enabled. With SpywardGuard running, you do not want to use TT as they do the same job.

2) Spywareguard: Right click the running icon of Spywareguard in the system tray to open the program. Then go to Menu, File, and choose Exit. It will automatically restart at next boot.

3) Windows Defender
Click on "Tools"
Click on "General Settings"
Scroll down to "Real-time protection options"
Uncheck "Turn on Real-time protection (recommended)"
Click "Save"
Make sure you turn it back on when you finish.

4) Your Zone Alarm spyblocker may also be blocking us, turn it off until you finish.

WinPatrol is also running but I don't think if causes any issues? I am not 100% sure.

5) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0260B890-FED9-491A-B053-40751046ADCC} - (no file)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\notdgylt.dll <<< delete that file

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post a new HJT log.

I posted as link for you to look at to help speed up your computer. Once we know the malware is gone, I suggest you consider how many spyware programs you are running. While the jury is out on how many is too many, we know only one AV and one fire wall. I suggest you reconsider the ones you run, they are probably slowing you also.

Thanks

Thanks for the help.......

1) I do not have TeaTimer enabled. But, I only unchecked the box for TeaTimer, not the other one...does this make a difference..

2) Spywareguard is turned off.

3) Windows Defender - turned off Real-time protection

4) Turned off Zone Alarm spyblocker.

Did nothing with WinPatrol.

5) Unchecked: Hide file extensions for known file types
Unchecked the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.

5) Opened HijackThis and chose "Do a system scan only" and deleted these line items:

6) RIGHT Clicked on Start then click on Explore. Could not locate the following item -

C:\WINDOWS\system32\notdgylt.dll

7) Ran ATF Cleaner

New HJT log attached -

I really could use your recommendation on the optimal number of spyware programs running and which will be most effective.....I do not want to go through this again.....
