Software always says "software being updated"

Even right after updating, in the upper right corner of the Stat Screen, it says that the software is being updated, is it supposed to work that way?:confused:
 
Thanks Zenobia. I must have overlooked the earlier thread. To be honest, was at my wits end last night when I posted.
