Some help, please

As my username suggests, I'm a PC amateur, so please bear this in mind ...

I downloaded Spybot a while ago and have been regularly downloading updates, but recently I have been unable to download any updates and I get the following message: !!! bad checksum !!!

Also, whenever I run a scan it stops at around 23,000 files, telling me that Xuron55 is using the same process and gives me a paragraph of German text.


Can anyone help me out? I'm using Windows 98

Open SpyBot and go help about, what version is it you have ?

Have you tried switching mirrors for the bad checksum problem ?
