SpyBot 1.5 and Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0

OS W2K Pro SP2.
Zone Alarm v 7.0 Firewall
LavaSoft Ad-Aware 2007 (free)

During installation of Spybot 1.5 the Kaspersky Anti-virus 6.0 Proactive Defense Info dialog kept poping up 50+ times and would’ve continued had I not closed the Kaspersky Anti-virus 6.0 program. I then uninstalled SpyBot 1.5.

In the Action portion it kept asking “Process is trying to gain write access to Internet.ad-ons settings.” and kept pressing ‘Allow’.

1.Should I reinstall SpyBot 1.5 NOT CLOSE the Kaspersky Anti-virus program and press ‘Allow’?

2. Should I reinstall SpyBot 1.5 CLOSE the Kaspersky Anti-virus program first?
 
Disable the proactive defense module
Reinstall spybot 1.5
Re-enable the proactive defense module
Also might want to consider an upgrade to Kaspersky anti-virus 7.0.
