Spybot 1.6.2 Will Not Update

I see that the updates are available for 7/31, but Spybot 1.6.2 doesn't see them. I get one line in the Updater that says "Upddate file info retrieved.". No locations, etc..

Do I have to update to the new version to continue to use SpyBot?
