Spybot affected by forums?

Microsoft sent a message that Spybot was not working properly and I got the
impression that it forums that were affecting it. I do look at a couple of forums but nothing serious. Would it be better to get rid of them. I did notice last week when I ran Spybot that the files tested had increased considerably.

Where did you receive this message from?
Why would you get the impression that a "forum" was affecting it? How was it affected? What "forum" were you thinking about? Spybot?

I'd like advice

I posted asking help with forums and the thread was locked saying I'd posted again too soon - last one was in January 2010!

Can Forums or blogs be dangerous in any way ? A systems signal appeared on my PC indicating I should close down then Microsoft indicated something about forums and to come here as Spybot was not working proerly
