Spybot closes down while scanning

During the scan Spybot finds "Error killer", then goes on with scanning.
Before reaching 50% of the scan it closes down suddenly, without removing the spyware it found.
What can I do to solve this problem?

You could try a scan in safe mode,and see if that helps.There are instructions for that in this post,just scroll down until you see Run in Safe Mode:

If that doesn't work,you might want to get checked out in malware removal,in case there may be anything interfering with Spybot.
