spybot hangs

Hi

Running spybot 2.5 on windows 10 it seems to hang (over 1 hour checking safe stuff)..

Status: Scan progressing.
Product: Eicar-AV-Test downloaded files...

tried a re-install but get the same thing.

assistance/suggestions welcome.

Does Spybot finish the scan or freeze?
