Spybot Itself Very Slow To Start Up?!

When I first began using Spybot 3-4 yrs. ago, it would start up very quickly. Now it takes 10-15 minutes to fully start up. scanning itself is still perfectly normal -so is downloading of updates.

What could cause the Spybot software to take so long to fully start?

I have removed and re-downloaded the software more than once.

Please help!

What is your operating system, and is this a desktop computer or a laptop?

Also, please open Spybot>Help>About
Let us know the version and latest detection update.
