Spybot locks up the computer??

You could try running a Spybot scan in safe mode,and see if that works.

Booting into safe mode keeps the things that start with windows and running processes to a minimum.In normal mode,if there are a lot of things running in the background or something is interfering with Spybot,that might be why your computer locks up when you run Spybot,though there could be other reasons why your computer is locking up when you're running Spybot.
In normal mode,try shutting down any non-essential things if you have any running(stuff like msn messenger,etc.,but not your anti-virus or firewall,if you're logged onto the net.)and running a scan with Spybot,and see if it's any better.If not,please post back.
