Spybot not finding anything, but I'm sure there's something here that shoudn't be

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble with an EXTREMELY slow Vista computer. I've done the obvious things; run Spybot SD, defragmented, removed all photos/videos etc, and installed all updates.

The CPU usage is always really high, and there's always traffic to and from the internet even when I'm not using the computer at all. A fairly recent progression is that Firefox crashes several times a day.

Anyone who can help?
