Spybot-S&D--From safe mode or desktop?

I have been running Spybot-S&D scans from my desktop, the scan runs fine and it fixes items in red. Is this a problem doing it this way? I don't have a noise to follow so I can tap f8 to get in safe mode. If I did get into this safe mode, is there something I'm supposed to do to get back out of it when scan and fix are complete?

You don't usually have to boot in safe mode just to run Spybot. You can run it on normal boot. You usually run it on safe mode because there might be a persistent malware problem or annoyance you have to fix that couldn't be fixed on a normal boot.

After you complete a scan in safe mode, if there is anything that comes up fix it. Done. Simple. Period. Now you can reboot in normal mode.
