Spybot Website...is it down?

Is Spybot website down ?....I have been trying to access it for a few days now.My firefox browser states..'cannot connect to server ...www.safer-networking.org cannot be found..'

I still get the same message with Internet Explorer.My OS is Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.

Spybot works but i cannot update as i receive a message 'Error retrieving file.

Have checked my AVG Firewall settings and is ok...any ideas what is occurring ?
 
Solved : Spybot Website Down

After following above steps ...nothing worked.I downloaded another Malware detection program and this found nothing...more and more headscratching...Why does Firefox log onto various sites but not Spybot website? Nor could i use Microsoft Windows Update feature.Since i used System Restore feature in Vista and logging onto Spybot website worked.All i can put this down was installing a dodgy program which for some reason my AVG malware/virus scan did not pick up..a lesson to be learned
