Spybot will not close

Ran check, Spybot found nothing. Tried to close program, get "not responding". Uninstalled and reinstalled same problem. Uninstalled, ran Ccleaner, Easycleaner on registry, rebooted and reinstalled. Same problem. Did the uninstall, registry cleaners and reinstall and then Safe Mode, same result.

Ran Superantispyware and A-squared Free and they find nothing. Both work properly. Only Spybot stops responding.

Does anyone have an idea of what to try next?

Where exaclty did you close it?
By ticking the "X"?
Or choosing exit from the menu bar above?

Do you get any error like a runtime error?

Never tried closing it from the file menu. Next time I get my hands on the computer I will try the file menu. No errors just freezes.
